Kordorog
Pron. /kOHr-dOH-rAHg/
A large, hulking, furred creature, the Kordorog possesses natural elemental abilities to create clouds of mist that it expels from bone stacks on its back to conceal its approach and facilitate escape. It typically travels on all fours but can stand upright to attack with its massive paws. While Kordorogs are not very quick or agile, they exhibit increased strength and speed when concealed or concentrating their mist. Although passive by nature, they can defend themselves with thier impressive strength and blades of wind projected from their mouths. A Kordorog typically stands 6 to 8 feet tall on all fours and 20 to 25 feet tall on its hind legs, weighing an average of 1200 to 1600 pounds.
Pavdi
Pron. /pAHv-dEE/
Slow-moving and relentless trackers, these carnivorous water Valkys travel long distances to find food, often pursuing a meal for hundreds of kilometers. Nearly impossible to deter, they are aptly named Grave Walkers to reflect their unyielding nature. They store large amounts of water around their necks and stomachs, allowing them to traverse vast distances without returning to a water source. They can use stored water both offensively and defensively. Equipped with razor-sharp fins along their bodies, these Valkys can slice through most anything with terrifying speed. Spanning lengths of 20 to 30 feet and weighing nearly 1,800 pounds, these massive creatures embody raw, untamed power.
Sukwa
Pron. /sOOk-wAH/
With the ability to fly using elemental energies, Sukwa are masters of the sky. They can glide long distances but cannot achieve true flight by flapping their wings; instead, they rely on element wind to hold themselves aloft and gain altitude. Sukwa are among the more intelligent of Valkys, having knowledge of the processes through mechanical means can be used to manipulate other elemental forces—though they can also only channel wind energy innately through their own being. While they can’t speak common, they understand it well. Lacking their own true spoken language, they can express themselves through songs and caws. They stand up to 7 feet tall but weigh less than 100 pounds.
Ykhari
/yIk-hAHR-rEE/
Much of the knowledge about the Ykhari is shrouded in mystery, as they are a reclusive and secretive race living away from any civilization or tribe. They are the Valkys half of Manyari ancestry, helping them by proxy through the Inyari sent to Manyari villages throughout the Wilds. They are advanced people with the ability to use yarik stones as well as their own unique, innate yarik. Ykhari are the only Valkys with the ability to craft and use yarik stones.
